The international child program (ICP) serves as an exchange for thoughts and interests of African, European, and American youth. ICP focuses on children from low-income households who have a love of learning and an interest in travel. ICP hopes to show young people that after college, travel is the best education than life can offer.

Paris Noir 2000 celebrates The International Child (ICP) with a benefit for the children of the new millenium.

The creators of Paris Noir 2000,  Sales/Weston, are a dynamic collaborating team combining photography, and art direction.

American fashion and portrait photographer, J. Galvezo Sales, has images that have graced the pages of German Vogue and Cosmopolitan, the herald tribune and many others. Sales’ brilliant study of Noir et Blanc draws to shadows and natural light. A book and exposition in Cologne, Germany (sponsored by Lee Jeans) emphasized his theme of white. His inspirations includes such illustrious muses as Lenny Kravits and Vanessa Paradis.

Electra Weston, originally from Harlem, New York, is the founder and President of Noir Montmartre Tours. While based in Paris, France, she has been traveling as an entertainer throughout Europe, Africa, and the United States since 1991. Weston states that she overcame enormous financial barriers through education and travel. She is dedicated to going back into the community to give others the same opportunity.

Paris Noir is a limited series  of postcards depicting the cultural diversity of the illustrious “city of light.”

Paris Noir 2000, the  first postcard series, is entitled “are there black people in France?” It is  a photo documentation of one of the most culturally and racially unique districts of Paris; The 18th arrondissment.

A percentage of all sales goes to fund a three part children’s program (ICP): 1) A children’s choir 2) A “world dance” class 3) A mentor program (groups of children are taken into the work environment of a host/mentor; providing a variety of career goals).
