The
international child program (ICP) serves as an exchange for
thoughts and interests of African, European, and American
youth. ICP focuses on children from low-income households who
have a love of learning and an interest in travel. ICP hopes
to show young people that after college, travel is the best
education than life can offer.

The
creators of Paris Noir 2000, Sales/Weston, are
a dynamic collaborating team combining photography, and art direction.
American fashion
and portrait photographer, J.
Galvezo Sales, has images that have graced the pages of German Vogue
and Cosmopolitan, the herald tribune and many others. Sales’ brilliant
study of Noir et Blanc draws to shadows and natural light. A book and
exposition in Cologne, Germany (sponsored by Lee Jeans) emphasized his
theme of white. His inspirations includes such illustrious muses as
Lenny Kravits and Vanessa Paradis.
Electra Weston,
originally from Harlem, New York, is the founder and President of Noir
Montmartre Tours. While based in Paris, France, she has been traveling
as an entertainer throughout Europe, Africa, and the United States since
1991. Weston states that she overcame enormous financial barriers
through education and travel. She is dedicated to going back into the
community to give others the same opportunity.

Noir is a
limited series of
postcards depicting the cultural diversity of the
illustrious “city of light.”
Paris
Noir 2000, the first
postcard series, is entitled “are there black people
in France?” It is
a photo documentation of one of the most
culturally and racially unique districts of Paris; The
18th arrondissment.
A
percentage of all sales goes to fund a three part
children’s program (ICP): 1) A children’s choir 2) A
“world dance” class 3) A mentor program (groups of
children are taken into the work environment of a
host/mentor; providing a variety of career goals).
