Electra Weston

She will personally guide you through her favorite cities throughout Africa, Europe and the United States.

Electra Weston, originally from Harlem, New York, is the founder and President of Noir Montmartre Tours. While based in Paris, France, she has been traveling as an entertainer throughout Europe, Africa, and the United States since 1991. Weston states that she overcame enormous financial barriers through education and travel. She is dedicated to going back into the community to give others the same opportunity.

Electra Weston introduces herself as a Harlemite who overcame enormous financial barriers through education and travel. Born into the arms of artistic parents, she naturally pursued a life of entertainment. Her actress/singer mom, Tonice Weston, named her daughter "Electra", because she said giving birth to Electra was an electrifying experience. Tonice did not sleep for three days after child-birth.

Vocally, Electra's jazz background found her headlining at clubs in Switzerland, Berlin, London, and Paris. Her first recording contract developed after being discovered in a popular night club. Sony Music (France) producers were amazed to find a New Yorker, in a local Parisian jazz spot, singing in both French and English. From that day on, Electra has often been referred to as a modern day Josephine Baker. In fact, Electra's current recording project is based around this concept.

New York fashion magazines have featured her in designs from Benetton to Karl Lagerfeld. Aside from the renowned Parisian runways, her face has appeared on the cover of magazines and billboards. But Electra Weston's true love of music and dance, along with her bilingual abilities, find her appearing in cities all over Africa, Europe, and the United States.

Electra's dance career has featured her with an amazing list of international groups; which exploit not only her classical, jazz, and modern technique, but incorporate a fantastic mixture of movements including Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and numerous central and West African dance styles.
